Here are a couple from a walk around campus a coule weeks ago. I like finding shapes in nature, so I was happy to find the leaves in the second picture!
I really like the way the sides of the leaves in the second photo are almost parellel, rather than having leaves that come out in all different directions. The depth of feild is great in the second and third shots. I especially like how the leaf in the third shot is not centered, it's isolated by itself, and the fact that it's brown and dying/dead emphasizes it's "aloneness."
I don't think anyone else noticed this, but did you intend for this post to have a theme? Looking at the series of pictures, all of them feature a subject (leaves, paper) that are curling at the edges. Not sure if you intended that, but it makes for an especially interesting post! I like the first and second images the best, myself. Very nice work.
